Description
This resource about Juneteenth will help your students learn about Juneteenth. Black history is American history and can be taught during any time of the year – not only in February or during special holidays. We hope that this resource will help you to have rich and engaging conversations with your students. We aim to help you educate your students on the challenges faced by African Americans, as well as their contributions to our country.
This resource was designed for first, second and third grade students but can be adapted for other grade levels as well.
