Description
This resource contains three items: a booklet, writing prompts and a scavenger hunt. The booklet discusses the signs of spring; there are both color and black and white copies. There are four writing pages that prompt the students to write about the signs of spring. The scavenger hunt is a great activity to do after reading the booklet. The scavenger hunt can be done on a walk around the school or park or on a field trip to the farm or zoo. You can also send the scavenger hunt home with students to complete with their families. To assemble the booklets, print and copy the pages front and back, cut them in half, and staple them together.
This resource was designed with kindergarten and first grade students in mind but can be adapted for other grade levels as well.
